Cumberland County Schools (CCS) students have been working hard and it is time to showcase their stellar work at the 2026 STARward STEM Expo on March 26, 2026 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Douglas Byrd High School. The STARward STEM Expo is the culminating event for the STARward STEM Design Challenge that will include student presentations and work samples , demonstrations by STEM industry experts, and the announcement of the winning student Design Challenge experiments. The event is open to students, families, educators, and other supporters of STEM education in the Cumberland County region.
In order to ensure we have ample free meals for every family, please complete the Family Registration Form by Friday, March 13. Pre-registered families will receive their meal tickets at the registration table at the Expo. Students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian/teacher a the Expo to receive a meal ticket.
